About APD Bergrivier

We are based in Velddrif on the West Coast of South Africa. The organization was established to offer a work and training environment for people with disabilities.

Our aim is:

  • Bethesda aims to provide employment for persons with disabilities residing in Velddrif and surrounds.

Our objectives are:

  • To provide training and income and to generate opportunities for disabled persons.
  • To encourage persons with disabilities to work in the open labour market.
  • To provide opportunities for social integration and development.
  • To install a sense of purpose and pride in its members.
  • To uplift the members and follow them to become self-supporting.
We encourage people with disabilities to work in the open labour market

The laundry washes, dries and irons at a reasonable fee. A donation from Saldanha Bay Rotary and Murray and Roberts Trust made this facility a reality.
